At Thunderbirds Digital Outpost, we believe you have the right to control your personal information. This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data in accordance with your rights under UK GDPR (Article 17 — Right to Erasure).

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data from our systems, please email us at:

Please include the following in your email:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account or order
  • Confirmation that you are requesting deletion of your personal data

What Gets Deleted

Upon a valid request, we will delete or anonymise the following:

  • Account information and login details
  • Contact information
  • Marketing preferences and consent records
  • Order history and transaction details (subject to legal retention requirements — see below)

Processing Time

We will acknowledge your request promptly and complete processing within one calendar month of receiving it, in line with our obligations under UK GDPR. We will confirm deletion by email once complete.

Data We Are Required to Retain

In some cases we are legally required to retain certain records and cannot delete them on request. This includes:

  • Financial and transaction records, which must be retained for 6 years in accordance with HMRC requirements
  • Fraud prevention records, where retention is necessary to protect against unlawful activity

Any data retained for legal reasons will be anonymised or pseudonymised wherever possible and will not be used for any marketing, profiling, or commercial purpose.

Your Right to Complain

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your deletion request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection authority.
